Title: Peter and Judas: Losing Your Soul or Finding Your Way Back

Summary:

“What is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” Jesus asked that question in Matthew 16, and this episode puts it to the test through the lives of Peter and Judas. Both failed him on the night of his arrest. Only one of them found his way back.

Judas sold Jesus for 30 pieces of silver, the price the law of Moses set on the life of a servant. When he realised what he had done, he tried to fix it by handing the money back, but he never went back to Jesus. Peter had seen Jesus transfigured on the mountain and promised he would die rather than deny him, yet before the rooster crowed he had denied knowing him three times. The difference came afterwards. On the shore of the Sea of Tiberias, Jesus did not lecture Peter. He invited him to breakfast, asked him three times if he loved him, and gave him a job to do: feed my sheep.

Drawing on Hebrews 13 and a story from a recent trip to England, the message here, much like in No Relationship Beyond Repair, is that failure never has the final word. Stay humble, go back to the Lord, and let him restore you.

Key Points:

• Jesus’ question in Matthew 16 asks what anything in this life is worth if it costs your soul, the part of you made to last forever.
• Every disciple promised to stand with Jesus, and every one of them fled when he was arrested, before the Holy Spirit had been poured out.
• Judas betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver, the price Exodus 21:32 places on a servant’s life, then tried to fix things with the money instead of going back to Jesus.
• Peter saw the transfiguration with his own eyes and still denied Jesus three times, a reminder that great experiences alone do not make us strong.
• Jesus met Peter with breakfast, not a lecture, and restored him with three questions that matched his three denials.
• Restoration came with a purpose: feed my lambs, feed my sheep.
• Failure can make us pull back or turn bitter, but humility takes us back to God, who promises never to leave us or forsake us.
• God is at work all over the world, and no past mistake puts anyone beyond his reach.

Title: Why We’re Here
Speaker: Pastor Marc Weber
Date: 16th May 2026
Location: Adelaide, Australia

Summary: “We’re here today because God ordained us for eternal life.” That single line captures what this episode is really about — not programs, not religion, but the reason God’s people keep showing up and pressing forward together.

This episode looks at why followers of Jesus gather at all, and what actually motivates a life set apart from the world. Drawing from 1 John 3, 1 Corinthians 13, Ephesians 6, and 2 Corinthians 4, the episode explores the unseen spiritual reality that underpins everyday faith. The hope of Christ’s return isn’t just a future event to look forward to — it’s an active force that shapes how we live right now.

There’s also an honest look at the love that holds God’s people together — not a surface-level niceness, but the kind of love that speaks truth, corrects gently, forgives the seemingly unforgivable, and keeps pushing us toward something eternal. The greatest days aren’t behind us. They’re still to come.

Key Points:

• The hope of Jesus returning is meant to be a daily motivation for righteous living, not just a distant belief
• The things that matter most — the spiritual realities we’re part of — are unseen, and only accessible through the Holy Spirit
• The love that holds God’s people together is active and truthful, not just emotionally warm — it corrects, inspires, and forgives

Title: Seizing The Moment
Speaker: Pastor Marc Weber
Date: 28th September 2025
Location: Adelaide, Australia

This episode reflects on the beauty of creation, the passing of time, and the importance of seizing every moment with purpose. Drawing from passages in Psalms, Ecclesiastes, Galatians, and Revelation, it explores how God calls us to live fully in the present—grounded in faith, aware of eternity, and responsive to His direction.

The message also unpacks the topic of predestination, clarifying that while God has prepared a way for salvation, each person must choose to walk in it. With powerful reminders about living intentionally, guarding the heart, and staying spiritually awake, this episode encourages renewed commitment to our walk with God as we see “the day approaching.”

3 Key Points:

1. Time is a gift from God—each moment offers an opportunity to live with purpose and faith.
2. God’s plan gives us free will to choose His way; salvation is not automatic but personal.
3. The call to “seize the moment” means rekindling our passion for God and living with eternity in view.
